Ukraine...not "the" Ukraine

Thanks Curtis for the article that you sent us, if anyone would like to read it, view Curtis's comment from my post where the children are receiving their tutoring lessons. After thinking about it, why have we been saying...."we are adopting a child from "the" Ukraine"? We don't say "the China or the Germany"? After thinking about it, it makes sense. Thanks for the correction Curtis and everything else you've done for all of us! We pray that things will calm down so you can continue your missionary work as this is a very important time for them to have something to believe in!

  1. Thanks guys. As it is, we've visited the orphanage a few times since the troubles began. Things seem to be smoother than before, but that doesn't mean that communication can begin. That's not my call. English classes will begin again within two weeks or so, as we await the green light from the director, who has been very gracious to us in this time. She's really a wonderful lady! The kids are all doing well, and I remind them all the time of your guys' love. They send their love to you as well.

  2. Thanks so much for update Curtis! We appreciate your help! Like I said before, we are just glad you can be there to reinforce our love and that we are coming to get Dima. We hope that the tutoring will be able to resume soon as we look forward to be able to talk to him in English more. We will be in touch about our date! Looks like it will be December. God Bless.
